I agree the smack needs to stop. So RK/Smash comes in and slaps us around, or gets slapped around....big deal. They dont smack in local, whichever way it goes for them. I've actually seen quite a bit of joking around in local with them, when I've been there. Every once in awhile someone will say something stupid, but its not often.

The numbers don't matter. If it wasnt fun for them they wouldnt keep coming. That's all that matters anyway, is the fun of it. I've missed nearly all the recent activity being in BoB space and all, but I plan on coming back to get podded real soon! :)

So checking the map it seems now the objective is another alliance. Can we have some backstory on the attacks or it is just pvp for the sake of it?

Checking KB I can't count with my hands all NAP/friendly standings resetting and breaking those days in the New Regions, seems like a polithical destabilization attempt or something weird. I hope for everyone there is some objective at all for the mess.

Well checking CAOD, KB, etc I can say Drone Regions alliances have been active into the "big war" for lots of months now. More in the north region (branch, venal, etc) than in south but there are the killboards we can all check.

According to my info there is some sort of confederation in the New Regions you maybe didn't know about. Those regions are somewhat poor and hard to live on, so together seemed to be working for those guys up there. In this sort of confederation if some member has it's sov. attacked there is a response (diplomathic, call to arms, whatever is needed I think) so by engaging those guys you just made lots of alliances there stop the regular operations in branch (check BKG conflict) so in fact you accomplished nothing but indirectly helping BoB friends in branch (although BKG system node died so there wasn't need of more troops today XD)

I'm not an alt but I'm informed and honestly this attack seems to have little sense and lack real objectives others than getting those regions HOT! (or should I put my tin foil hat on?)

Generally correct, minus the "these regions are somewhat poor and hard to live on" part. Smash/Roadkill decided they didn't like us, so they're trying to take our station. The rest of the alliances friendly with us responded, and now the pew-pew has commenced. There will probably be a real post about this later, currently 350+ in local and fluctuating as people crash/login/etc.

Both of us had mass crashes, we were the ones who jumped into your gatecamp with all your drones out don't forget. And that killboard battle report don't tell the full story. At the start of the fight the numbers were even and we had no capital support while you guys had your carriers and dreads. Our caps only jumped in at the very end.

I can agree that the 'Drone Alliance' capitals only went in towards the end. I'm not sure at what stage ours where part of the battlefront, however im told quite early. To have an accurate view of how things looked, we had approximately 175 in gang, 150 in system, after 5-10 minutes into the fight, our gang had dropped to less than 50. I don't know what the 'Drone Alliance' looked like, but when I logged back in on my Main, there was 383 in local, 58 in gang. You do the math, our 'solid gate camp' had been desynced to death unfortunately.

Props to bringing it however, it was definately enjoyable for the most part. Just a shame that these issues have to cause such tension and problems within our game universe.

If you desync the only way to fix it or be useful is to relog. Nothing like being told the enemy is too far away to activate any module on while they are actually right next to you....

I as well find it very funny how Smashkill and Atlas talk about humility and smack talk. I sat in MJ for several hours watching and reading the crap in local you all were spewing, and watching the TDP local smack with my sniper pilot before the jump in. My favorite was about you selling Frege some underwear with a free set of balls. I dont know if you noticed but it takes major balls to jump into the fight with the odds against you. With that in mind it was a joy jumping in and owning you all considering the advantages you had, including warping back to carriers that were repping you. Just for future reference a few words for your next fight.

1. Leaving your snipers in their sniper point for over an hour straight and not moving them before the battle is not all that wise
2. Leaving heavy ships inside the bubble knowing a 180 man fleet is jumping in knowing there will be major lag, not suggested
3. Putting large hybrid s on a Moros is quite an entertaining KM, we enjoyed that
4. Warping snipers back to the same exact point that your buddies are getting killed in is great for tacklers
5. Smack talk after you own the field not before, it just makes these post so much more fun

BTW. Atlas you better pray that you and your buds in SmashKill pull some serious rabbits out of your hat because its looking like you'll be the next Guard Allaince

I had a chat with this mad pact leadership and as of yesterday night no reset was mentioned. invictus and oxide came and started shooting us while blue.As for imperial order 1 mont they had a small pos offline, 3 pos have less then 7 guns a cyno jammer on a pos with 4 small rails. Imperial order was a security risk to smashkills outposts. there was a lull we came. all i see now is a fleet that was never in the north or south, like what half of mad pact is a group of alliances who nap up and make isk. Smashkill wont forget the blue on blue and as for the being bob pets,we will never be bob pets. look at the past of tre kroner or guard and see what mad pacts reasons were to remove them. i took thier own reasons and now they are angry. smashkill security was at risk we responded.

I think it's about time you quit posting. I can respect SMASHKILL for having alliance pride, ect. But at least they're not being complete tools about it.

That being said, it's kind of funny that SMASHKILL thinks attacking a member of the Drone Alliance, next door to both IVC, OXIDE and FREGE would be ok. You can't go ****ing all over people's friends and then wonder why they smack you in the face.

Which makes since but I honestly didn't know about MAD.

MJ and the surrounding systems are having some of the best engagements I have yet encountered. RKSMASH, I salute you for whats been a great two weeks of battle. I wish you would use more accurate numbers when detailing your accounts. We have sustained losses for sure...but you have taken some heavy hits too, and yet seem to deny it.
I say let your pvp grudge match colours fly and just admit it. It doesnt demean anything accomplished so far, by admitting actual losses from battle. It only enhances the awesomeness. You win a few ... we win a few. Rinse. Repeat.

I also want to thank Roadkill...for you have brought MAD PACT players in close contact for the first time since the regions opened up. We now get to know the quality of our allies....and are strenghtening bonds. The MJ battles are simply fantastic, lag aside.

The local trash talk is a bit tiring mind you.
But cheers all the same. It isnt trash talk to say that I dont believe you will finish the job you started.....and there is no shame in that. You have played a great game this week.
